Requirements for the OCILB online certification course:

The OCILB Online Certification Course is a self-paced digital survey, Each contractor must have a functioning web camera or video camera installed on their desktop computer, laptop, tablet or mobile device to interact with Lee Training Services during the entire certification course. Also, the web camera will provide visual confirmation of the contractor's identity and participation.

By State Law, each contractor is required to submit electronically to DocuSign©. An affidavit is filed with the OCILB which contains the contractor's unique State ID card number, course, enrollment information and it's digitally and legally signed.

As currently required for onsite OCILB attendance verification, each contractor applying for certification is required to prresent their State Contractor's ID Number and Ohio Drivers License for completion and verification of Continuing Education courses.

The Contactor must complete each section in order presnted BEFORE advancing to start another part of the course. At the conclusion of the course, each contactor is required to complete a final online quiz. All contactors must digitally sign the online quiz as verification of attendance. The quiz is a contactor's review of material presented by Lee Training Services, and it will NOT be utilized as a method of providing a pass/fail grade for online certification.

During the OCILB online certificaton course:

  1. After successfully logging into the online Certification Course you become a full member of the class.
  2. In the left portion of the browser window you will see Two Buttons
    • Button 1: Ask a question - ress this button to send a personal text message.
    • Button 2: Ask to speak - Press this button only when you want to go On-Air and Talk.
  3. In the right portion of the browser window you will see a Chat Field
  4. In the center of the browser window you can view the Online Certification Course Presentation.
    • Other Documents included by the Online Certification Course are displayed
    • Also, in the far right portion of the browser window, you will see a list of all online Attendees
  5. Make sure you can see and hear yourself well.

Note: Checking Ports Tab should contain only OPEN for all lines.
